Matters need attention
1: Wipe the prism before the test to make it clean;
2: Protect the prism of the refractometer during the test to avoid scratches with hard gems or tweezers that will affect the test results;
3. After the test, wipe the contact liquid on the prism in time;
4. The conventional refractive liquid test range is 1.35-1.79, gems's IOR larger or lower than this range cannot be measured;
5. For accurate and comprehensive testing of gemstones, please combine with other instruments to verify each other to make the results more accurate;
6. Unpolished or poorly polished gemstones cannot read the refractive index normally;
